Avarua (Centre)

There are 2 buses that circle the island: the clockwise route leaves Cooks Corner every hour on the hour, while the anticlockwise service departs 25 minutes past from the same spot in central Avarua. it takes around 50 minutes to circle the island and costs only $3 for a single ticket. Bus passes are available and buses can often be flagged down if you are not standing at a regular stop. The Sunday and holiday service is slightly reduced so please ask your hosts for a timetable on your arrival.
