Avarua (Uptown) The CICC Church is in uptown Avarua. The Cook Islanders love to go to church and their singing is fantastic. There are many churches on the Island: whatever your denomination, you will find a suitable church on Rarotonga. The service in CICC is conducted mostly in Maori-English, but is easy to follow. After service the local mama´s provide coffee and tea and welcome visitors. |
